adventures near our nest

Beer always tastes good, but it tastes even better during/after a little adventure. You know, when you feel like you've really earned it.

We've collected a few of our favorite local adventures below. Bike routes from the brewery. Nearby places for kayaking, fishing, golf golf, and disc golf. We've also included links to a few of our favorite local events and places. Birds gotta fly. Visit Winfield and make some good memories while you're in town.
We'll supply the beer.

bicycles!

There are a plethora of great gravel and road routes that can easily start and end from our brewery parking lot. Check out these popular area routes.

Oh, you would prefer to shred the gnar? We have a couple of short mountain bike trails here in town on the northeast side of Southwestern College campus -- Hoodoo Loop and Rogue Trail, or you can hit us up after you take on Camp Horizon.

If you need anything bike related, stop by our neighbor's place, Walnut Valley Outpost.

golf/disc golf

With two great golf courses in town and a beautifully designed disc golf course. There's no reason you shouldn't make a birdie or even an eagle while you're in Winfield.

Duck Jam
in the Park

We're proud to be sponsors of this free community concert series that goes on just down the street at Island Park.

The event hosts an eclectic group of performers each summer,
check out the schedule. The series is BYOB, so "quack" a cold one and enjoy excellent live music in a beautiful setting with your friends, neighbors, and probably ducks.

Winfield lake

Fishing, kayaking, boating, camping - Winfield Lake is a not so hidden gem on the edge of the Flint Hills. Filled by Timber Creek, the water feels nice and it is an excellent source for Ladybird Beer.

Don't have kayaks, but want to spend a day on the water? Hit up our buds at Prairie Outfitters & Excursions.
